Salzburg 7-0 FC Banants

As you can tell by the score the Red Bulls came to play and their fluid passing devastated the Armenian squad, who unfortunately were missing four players due to Visa problems. Equally the turf field in Salzburg definitely caused them problems and was more suited to the Salzburg-style of “total football”. Brilliant victory for Salzburg and a step forward, albeit a small one, for Austrian Football.

Yo J, do you know if either Anis Boussaidi or Majdi Traoui played in this game? Two Tunisians that joined the club this summer and I’m wondering if you have more info on how they are progressing there… Thanks buddy.

Rami – thank you my friend for joining me. Let me dig out my report and I will answer that for you. However this match was an absolute mess to be honest and while it is naturally good for RB Salzburg it is misleading. I should first say to you that I’ve considered writing of the Armenian team as I admire their play and spirit. However as you know five players weren’t granted visas and they had yet to practice on the turf field, which posed massive problems given their style. I can’t imagine a worse situation for a team and certainly the deck was stacked against them. Anyways, I’ll get your answer and post it. Thank you.

Thanks buddy I’ll check back later. If you can’t find it it’s not a big deal. I’m just trying to track my internationals

Rami, sorry for the delay – however per your request. I am not sure if your players were part excluded with the visa situation.
