One of the most promising young players of the tournament and one to watch is Austria’s imposing defender, Sebastian Prödl. Sebastian, who wore the armband for Austria’s tremendous U-20 team that went to the semi-finals in last summer U-20 World Cup, has quickly garnered a great deal of attention in Football ranks. After coming up through the development program of SK Sturm Graz in Austrian Football Bundesliga he will be joining Thomas Schaaf at Werder Bremen in Germany next season. While only 20 years old, expect to see him play a vocal role in the back four as his natural leadership qualities emerge.
