Karel Brückner on World Cup plans

The ÖFB presented Karel Brückner as the new Manager of Austria in Vienna today.The sixty-eight year old possesses a wealth of experience and moves over from the Czech Republic. In speaking to the public for the first time in his new role he asked for patience and he becomes accustomed to Austrian Football. However he also stated without a doubt the goal is to qualify for World Cup 2010 regardless of the tough group they are in. Additionally it was made very clear that Andreas Herzog has a major role within the program.

Good luck Bruckner!-nice blog. We were lucky enough to have our luxury holidays in Austria during Euro 2008. We had a fantastic time, the scenery, resort and people were fantastic!, cant wait to return!-Keep posting, cheers!
