injury updates

With the squad’s self-confidence growing after the Croatia match, they were back at practice today. Of major concern, both Mad Dog Pogatetz and Roland Linz were missing with injuries.

Although Linz did not appear hobbled in the match, he strained ligaments in his right ankle and his status for the Poland match has yet to be determined. Mad Dog’s injury is apparently a deep bruise to his foot and excluding a major injury I cannot imagine him not playing. Actually I cannot imagine anyone facing the intense one and not writing his name into the lineup. We’ll need both of course against the swift Polish team but would have a massive void without Emanuel in the back-line.
