Christian Fuchs transfers to VfL Bochum

It seems after the Euros our Austria squad has become hot property and today was no-exception as 22 year-old midfielder Christian Fuchs has moved to VfL Bochum of the Bundesliga from SV Mattersburg of Austria.

This is a tremendous opportunity for Christian as he will immediately have an opportunity to impact the squad which sat in the bottom half of the Bundesliga table last campaign. Bochum head coach Marcel Koller and noted “We have watched (Christian) Fuchs very intensely and we are certain of Christian Fuchs’ sportive and character qualities.”

He will be joining the squad shortly beautiful Kaiserwinkl, Austria for training camp.
